Tell us about the plot.

Usually within a week for anywhere we already work, longer if the plot is a full day's drive out. We will tell you honestly when we can get there rather than book a date we cannot keep.

The first conversation is free. The site survey is not — it takes a day, produces a measured water report, and is the document everything else is built on. It is quoted as a fixed fee before we travel.

We can survey it and tell you what is wrong, and often the answer is cheaper than you expect — filtration, a pressure problem, or zones drawing more than the pump can give. What we will not do is take over running a scheme we have never measured.

There is no hard floor, but below about half a hectare the design fee starts to dominate the cost of the scheme. We will say so if that is where you are, and point you at what to buy instead.

No — that is a separate trade. We will size and specify what the scheme needs, then work alongside whichever driller you appoint and test the yield once it is in.
